Author Guidelines

1. Who Can Submit

• —Undergraduate and postgraduate students
• —PhD scholars and doctoral candidates
• —Early-career researchers and junior faculty
• —Independent researchers from any country

Submissions are accepted from all scientific, social science, and interdisciplinary domains. Submitting a research paper is free; a publication fee applies only if your paper is accepted. See Fees & Charges for the full list.

3. Blog Post Requirements

• —Recommended length: 800 – 2,500 words
• —Submit content in HTML format using standard tags (<p>, <h2>, <ul>, <a>)
• —Scripts, iframes, and embedded third-party content are not permitted
• —Cover image is optional but strongly recommended (JPEG or PNG, minimum 1200×675px for 16:9)
• —A short author bio may be included and will appear at the bottom of the post

   Submission Confirmation

   You will receive an automated confirmation email immediately upon submission.

   Editorial Desk Review

   The editorial team checks the submission for completeness, scope, and formatting compliance within 5–7 working days.

   Peer Review

   Qualifying papers are sent to subject-matter reviewers under one of two timelines: Fast Track Peer Review ($100) is completed in approximately 2 weeks from confirmed payment, and Normal Peer Review (No Cost) takes approximately 8–10 weeks from successful submission. Timelines begin only after payment confirmation and editorial screening. ASJSR follows a double-blind review process.

   Decision & Publication

   Authors are notified of the editorial decision by email. If your paper is accepted, we email you a secure link to pay the $250 publication fee; your paper is published and assigned a permanent URL once the fee is paid. If your paper is rejected, there is no charge.

6. Fees & Charges

ASJSR is open access, so readers pay nothing. Author-side charges are listed in full below and on the Fees & Charges page. There are no hidden fees, and we do not offer waivers or discounts.

The $100 Fast Track fee is separate from and not credited against the $250 publication fee — a fast-tracked paper that is published costs $350 in total. All fees are in US dollars, paid by card through Stripe, and are non-refundable once paid. Payment never influences an editorial decision.

7. Copyright & Open Access

ASJSR is a fully open-access journal. Authors retain copyright of their work and grant ASJSR a non-exclusive licence to publish, distribute, and archive the content. All published work is made freely available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
